  • 1 baked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 c. crushed strawberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pkg. small cream cheese
  • 1 c. strawberries
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 lump butter
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    Cook together sugar, water, crushed berries, cornstarch and lemon juice until thickened.

    Add butter and cool while you spread softened cream cheese on baked crust.

    Place whole berries on cheese.

    Pour cooked mixture over all.

    Chill and top with Cool Whip.
