- 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 2 c. white flour
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. ground whole wheat
- 1 1/4 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 2 Tbsp. sugar, honey or Karo syrup
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add 1/2 of flour, oil, sugar and salt.

3Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.

4Then add the other half of flour.

5Mix with spoon until blended.

6Cover bowl and put in warm place (85°) for 30 minutes, until doubles.

7Mix with spoon 25 strokes; pour into greased pan.

8Smooth dough by patting with floured hand.

9Let rise 45 minutes until 1/2-inch from top of pan. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.

10Tap top of loaf.

11It should sound hollow.

12Take from pan immediately and brush top with butter.
