Ingredients

  • 2 new york strip steaks, trimmed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 stick fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, rinsed
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Directions

    Season steak on both sides.

    Heat a pan then add oil and swirl around.

    Add state to the pan then cook each side for 3 to 5 minutes or until a nice sear is present.

    Add garlic, rosemary and butter to the pan.

    Once butter is melted, tilt pan and begin to baste the steaks while they cook for another 1-2 minutes.

    Remove steak from the pan and let rest for about 10 minutes.

    Mix all the garnish ingredients in a bowl.

    Slice and serve steaks with garnish on top.
