- 1 can Progresso white clam sauce (do not drain)
- 2 1/2 c. Progresso Italian bread crumbs
- 2 small cans minced clams, drained
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 large stalk celery, chopped fine
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne
- small piece green pepper, chopped (if desired)
Directions

1Saute onion and celery (and pepper) in butter.

2Add sauce and bread crumbs.

3Add liquid and add 1/2 cup water to moisten if necessary.

4Stuff shells.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
