Stuffed Bell Peppers

- 6 medium bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 3 Tbsp. oleo or bacon drippings
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Cut tops off pepper about 3/4-inch; save.

2Remove seeds. Parboil 5 to 8 minutes.

3Brown meat in fat; add onion and brown slightly.

4Add remaining ingredients and simmer.

5Should be stiff enough to hold shape of spoon.

6Stuff peppers.

7Replace tops and put into baking dish.

8Add 1/2 cup water.
-
9Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
