Stuffed Cabbage Leaves

- 1 c. rice
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 lb. ground lamb or beef
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium cabbage head
Directions

1Cook rice in boiling water until tender.

2Drain; add seasonings, butter or margarine and meat.

3Shape the mixture into small rolls.

4Wrap a leaf of the cabbage around each meat ball. The cabbage leaves have been wilted in boiling water for about 5 minutes.

5Place the wrapped rolls in a kettle; add tomato juice and cover.

6Cook for 30 minutes.

7Makes 6 servings.
