- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. shallots, finely chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. coarse bread crumbs
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- dash of cayenne
- 1/2 lb. crab meat
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1In a medium-sized skillet, saute onion and shallots in butter. Add bread crumbs and cook 3 to 5 minutes.

2Add bay leaves, salt, pepper, cayenne, crabmeat and parsley; mix thoroughly and heat through.

3Remove from heat and remove bay leaves.

4Pack stuffing into 4 crab shells and cover with buttered bread crumbs.

5Bake in a shallow baking dish for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
