Ingredients
- 6 medium onions
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut off 1/2 inch of top or bottom of peeled onions.

2Place in boiling water for about 7 minutes.

3Remove onion centers and set aside to use in stuffing.

4Fry sausage until red disappears; drain.

5Chop onion centers.

6Combine cheese, bread crumbs, eggs, parsley, sugar, cinnamon, milk, salt and pepper.

7Mix well.

8Stuff onion shells.

9Stand shells up in buttered baking dish.

10May top with small pieces of bacon and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour. Hamburger may be substituted or ground turkey or chicken.
