- 1 large or 2 small green peppers
- 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 egg
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Halve large pepper or cut off tops of small.

2Remove seeds and membrane.

3Precook peppers in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Combine ground beef, rice, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Combine onion, egg and 1/4 cup tomato sauce.

4Mix thoroughly. Stuff pepper and stand upright in a small casserole.

5Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.

6Bake in a moderate oven for 45 to 50 minutes.

7Baste peppers with sauce mixture 2 to 3 times while cooking.
