- 6 large green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cut thin slice from stem of peppers. Remove all seeds and membranes.

3Wash inside and out.

4Heat 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt to boiling.

5Add peppers and cook 5 minutes.

6Drain.

7Mix remaining ingredients.

8Lightly stuff peppers and place in ungreased baking dish.

9Cover and bake 45 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 minutes.
