- 7 large peppers
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. rice, cooked
- 2 cans tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 3/4 c. shredded cheese
Directions

1Cut stem end off pepper.

2Remove seed.

3Cook peppers in enough boiling water to cover 5 minutes.

4Cook hamburger and onion in skillet until light brown.

5Stir in salt, rice and 1 can tomato sauce; heat thoroughly.

6(Save 1 can to go on top of peppers.) Stuff pepper with hamburger mixture.

7Stand upright in an ungreased baking dish.

8Pour tomato sauce over peppers.

9Cover and cook at 350° for 45 minutes.

10Uncover; cook 15 minutes longer. Sprinkle with cheese.
