- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup white karo syrup
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups raw peanuts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water. Cook to soft-ball stage (238 degrees). Add peanuts and salt and cook to hard-crack stage (288 degrees); stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add vanilla and butter. Add soda; stir vigorously until foamy. Pour at once into greased pan.
