- 3 large peppers
- 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Prepare peppers (hull).

3Wash peppers. Boil in 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

4Cook 5 minutes and drain.

5Mix remaining ingredients; stuff peppers.

6Stand upright in ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.

7Cover.
-
8Bake 45 minutes. Uncover; top with any cheese.

9Bake 15 minutes.
