- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 c. cooked rice, cooked
- 4 medium green peppers
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
Directions

1Brown beef and onion in skillet. Add seasoning and tomato soup. Simmer 10 minutes. Add shredded cheese, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; cook slowly until cheese melts.

2Stir in rice. Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seed and membranes. Cook in boiling salted water 3 minutes; drain and cool. Fill peppers with filling and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated thoroughly. May add a thin slice Velveeta cheese on top of peppers before heating.
