Stuffed Peppers

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 4 large green peppers, stems and seeds removed
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- tomato sauce or catsup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs or Minute rice
Directions

1Mix raw ground beef, seasonings, onion, cheese, rice and tomato sauce or catsup.

2Use just enough sauce to mix but not soupy.

3Stuff all in the 4 large green peppers. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 400° for about 1 hour.

4Remove the foil and spread catsup over and cook until peppers are starting to turn brown.
