Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo shells
  • 1 large container small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce

    Cook shells according to package directions, drain.

    (Keep separated in cool water.)

    Combine cheeses, eggs, parsley oregano, salt and pepper.

    Fill each shell with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture.

    Spread thin layer of sauce on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Place shells in pan, cheese side up.

    Cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Fills about 36 shells; yields 10 to 12 servings.
