- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. raw shelled Virginia type peanuts with skin on
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Preferably use an iron skillet.

2Dissolve sugar in water in saucepan over medium heat.

3Add peanuts and continue to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently.

4Cook until peanuts are completed sugared.

5(Coated and no syrup.)

6Pour on ungreased cookie sheet, separate peanuts with a fork.

7Bake at 300° for approximately 30 minutes, stirring at 10 minute intervals.
