- 6 medium apples
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 12 oz. can frozen unsweetened apple juice, thawed
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional)
- 2 pastry pie shells
Directions

1Peel, core and slice apples in pastry lined pie plate.

2Mix together cornstarch, cinnamon and apple juice in a saucepan.

3Stir constantly while bringing mixture to a boil.

4When it goes from cloudy to clear, stir in butter (if desired).

5Pour over sliced apples.

6Cover with top pastry and seal.

7Cut slits in top; place on cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until browned.
