- 1 c. hominy grits
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 tube garlic cheese
- cheese slices for top
Directions

1Cook grits in boiling water and salt until done, about 5 minutes.

2Add oleo and garlic cheese.

3I use 1 cup ordinary cheese, chipped, and garlic powder to suit taste.

4Cover off heat and let cheese melt.

5I stir it until it melts.

6Put in casserole and top with cheese slices.

7Bake at 350° until cheese melts.
