  • apples
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    Butter a pie plate.

    Fill 3/4 full with peeled, sliced apples. Melt margarine.

    Set aside to cool.

    Mix remaining ingredients. Add melted butter or margarine to batter.

    Pour over apples.
