  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. soda
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cube oleo
  • 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1/2 c. pecans or nuts

Directions

    Mix the flour, sugar and soda.

    Add the pineapple, eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

    Pour into greased and floured cake pan and cook 35 to 45 minutes in a 350° oven or test with a toothpick.

    Let cool some, then cover with the icing.
