- 1 gal. sliced cucumbers
- 1 Tbsp. alum
- 9 c. sugar
- vinegar
- 1 c. pickling salt
Directions

1Fill with water and 1 cup of pickling salt for 14 days.

2Drain off and wash.

3Fill with water and 1 tablespoon alum for 24 hours. Drain, fill with vinegar for 24 hours.

4Drain off and add 3 cups sugar the first day, 3 cups the next day, 3 cups next day for 3 days.

5Leave in same jar.

6Take out as you want them.

7Better if they are chilled or kept cool.
