  • 12 halved chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese slices
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can sherry wine
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
  • 3/4 c. melted butter

    Arrange chicken in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Season.

    Layer cheese over chicken.

    Blend soup and sherry and pour over cheese. Toss stuffing with butter and spoon over all.

    Bake, covered, at 325° for 1 hour.

    Uncover and bake for 15 minutes.

    Sauteed fresh mushrooms are a nice addition.
