- 2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 minced onion
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cut steak into 6 to 8 portions.

2Rub meat with salt and pepper.

3Dredge on both sides in flour.

4Melt shortening and brown meat on both sides quickly.

5Place in a baking dish; pour onion, soup and milk over meat.

6Cover with foil and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
