  • 3 or 4 lb. round steak
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 green pepper, sliced or chopped
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 qt. whole tomato
  • flour, salt and pepper

    Dredge steak in flour, salt and pepper; brown in oil.

    Add remaining ingredients and bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Mushrooms may be added.
