  • 2 or 3 pkg. savoy steaks
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 large bell pepper (optional)

Directions

    Cut steaks into serving sizes, flour and brown.

    Place in roasting pan.

    Add tomatoes and juice.

    Add bell pepper, if desired.

    Cook, uncovered, at 250° until meat is very tender, about 45 minutes, the longer it is cooked the better.
