- 2 pkg. frozen French-cut string beans
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. grated onion
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine and cook the butter, flour, sour cream, grated onion, salt, pepper and sugar until thick.

2Mixture does not get real thick.

3Cook the two packages of string beans and drain well.

4In greased casserole, combine green beans and white sauce.

5Spread Swiss cheese on top of mixture.

6Combine crushed corn flakes with 2 tablespoons of butter and sprinkle on top of string beans mixture and cheese.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes.

8Serves 3 to 4.
