Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 10 large potatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large cans string beans, drained
  • 2 large cans corn (whole kernel), drained
  • 4 large yellow squash
  • 5 large carrots, diced, cooked (2 cans, drained)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Saute ground beef and onions together.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Add pinch of sage, 1 pinch of mustard.

    Cook until brown; drain and wash off.

    Peel diced boiled potatoes, then mash boil beans, corn and carrots separately.

    Cook squash until tender (drain).

    In square 9 x 9-inch pan.

    Layer ground beef mixture, green beans, squash, corn, carrots, mashed potatoes.

    Cover with cheese.

    Bake at 325° until cheese is melted and browned.
