  • 16 oz. bag Hanover Blue Lake green beans
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. shredded onion
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sesame seed
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce

    Cook beans and salt 3 minutes; drain.

    Uncover.

    Set on cool burner.

    Saute the onion, pepper and sesame seed in oil for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Remove from the fire.

    Combine green beans and sauteed onion, etc.

    Add oyster sauce.

    Cool, uncovered, for 1/2 hour before covering to carry to luncheon.
