- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
- finely chopped lettuce
- finely chopped tomatoes
- finely grated cheese (can use Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- finely chopped onion (optional)
- 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned (optional)
- tortilla chips
Directions

1Chill a pie plate.

2Let cream cheese reach room temperature to soften.

3Blend cream cheese and sour cream.

4Add taco seasoning and mix well.

5Pour mixture into the chilled pie plate.

6Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.

7Just before serving, top dip mixture with shredded lettuce, beef, onions, tomatoes and cheeses, layering each.
