Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 head lettuce, torn into pieces
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. taco sauce
  • 1 can red or kidney beans
  • 1/2 c. Italian dressing
  • 1 c. buttermilk style dressing
  • 1 pkg. tortilla chips

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion, add beans, drain on paper towels and chill well.

    Combine with greens, tomatoes and cheese and toss with dressings.

    The buttermilk style dressing should be mixed according to directions on the package, reducing the buttermilk to 1/4 cup.

    Add taco sauce if desired and just before serving add crumbled tortilla chips.

    Serve with additional chips.
