Taco Salad Dip

Name: Taco Salad Dip
Ingredients: 1 large bag Tostitos or Doritos; 8 oz. cream cheese; 1 c. sour cream; 1/2 to 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix; 1 bottle chunky salsa or taco sauce; approximately 1/4 to 1/2 head lettuce, chopped; 1 or 2 tomatoes, cut up in small pieces; 1/2 onion, chopped; 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

1 large bag Tostitos or Doritos
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 to 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 bottle chunky salsa or taco sauce
approximately 1/4 to 1/2 head lettuce, chopped
1 or 2 tomatoes, cut up in small pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Several hours in advance, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning mix.

Spread on large platter or quiche type dish.

Cover with drained salsa or taco sauce, then chopped lettuce, tomatoes, onion and shredded Cheddar.

Serve with Doritos or Tostitos.
