Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Ranch Style beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy or corn
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
  • 1 tsp. dry parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • tortilla chips, saltine crackers or cornbread

Directions

    Brown meat with onion until well done.

    Drain off grease. Combine remaining ingredients in pot.

    Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, over low heat for 30 minutes.

    Serve with tortilla chips, grated cheese, crackers and/or cornbread.
