Ingredients

  • lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Morton Nature's Seasons (sprinkle for taste)
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can black beans
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans (one light, one dark)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can white hominy
  • 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
  • El Patio tomato sauce to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef.

    Add onion.

    Add Nature's Seasons and garlic.

    Rinse when no longer pink in colander under hot water. Put in crock-pot, along with canned beans, taco mix and green chiles.

    Add tomato sauce to taste.

    (It's hot; you may want to start with about 2 ounces.)

    Cover; cook on low all day.
