- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 - 5 1/4 oz. can whole kernel corn, undrained
- 1 - 10 oz. can diced tomatoes with chilies, undrained
- 1 - 15 oz. can pinto beans in chili sauce, undrained
- 1 1/4 oz. envelope taco seasoning
- 1 - 10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 c. water
- baked tortilla chips
- 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Directions

1Brown beef, drain and rinse with hot water to remove excess fat.

2Combine all ingredients except tortilla chips and cheese, in a Dutch oven.

3Simmer on low.

4To serve, crumble tortilla chips in a serving bowl and cover with a generous helping of stew. Sprinkle with cheese.

5Makes 4 to 6 servings.
