- 1 cut up fryer or 6 breasts
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina dressing
- 1 can whole cranberries
- 1 large onion, cut fine
- 1 large bell pepper, cut fine
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes (I use two cans stewed tomatoes and cut them up if they need it)
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice (I use Minute rice)
- 1 tsp. chili powder (you've got to be kidding! I put this in until I feel like I've got enough; I like to be able to taste the spicy taste, so put a lot of this in there!)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Cook onion and green pepper slowly in shortening until onion is yellow.

2Add meat and cook until it gets brown.

3I always drain the grease off right here.

4Add tomatoes, rice and seasoning.

5Put in casserole dish (large size) and bake in oven at 350° for 1 hour.
