  • 5 lb. butternut or hubbard squash
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. golden raisins
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (ground)
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lite corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped pecans

Directions

    Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.

    Place cut side down in shallow baking pans; add 1/2-inch water.

    Cover and bake at 400° for 40 minutes or until tender.

    Drain; scoop out pulp and discard shell.
