  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (17 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, shredded
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Melt in large skillet margarine.

    Add ground beef.

    Cook until brown, stirring with fork.

    Put through food mill.

    Add kidney beans and stir well.

    Add onion, green pepper, tomato soup, chili sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.

    Stir well and cover.

    Cook over low heat for 1 hour.

    Serve with toasted hamburger rolls. Makes 6 servings.
