- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
- flour (about 3 c.)
- 1 heaping tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla or flavor of choice
Directions

1Combine shortening and sugar.

2Add well beaten eggs and milk; beat well.

3Mix dry ingredients; add gradually.

4Chilled dough rolls better.

5Roll thin, cut in desired shapes.

6Use flour to make rolled dough. Bake on 375° about 8 minutes.
