- 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and eggs.

2Add vanilla, milk and dry ingredients; blend well.

3Place dough on lightly floured board. Sprinkle a little flour over dough; roll to about 1/2-inch thick. Place on cookie sheet; bake in a moderate oven at about 350° to 375° for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
