- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs (unbeaten)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
Directions

1Combine Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

2Beat well.

3Add flour gradually.

4Mix well.

5Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut desired shape.

6Place on cookie sheet (ungreased).

7Bake at 375° for about 8 to 10 minutes.

8Makes about 6 dozen tea cakes.
