  • 1 c. hot water (boiling)
  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 6 c. unsifted plain flour
  • 1 c. crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes.

    Pour boiling water over crisco, sugar, salt.

    Blend and cool.

    Add eggs.

    Stir yeast into mixture.

    Add flour.

    Blend well.

    Cover and place in refrigerator 5 hours.
