Ingredients: 5 -6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced; 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream; 1 -2 garlic clove, minced; 1 small onion, chopped; 1 (1 ounce) packagedry ranch dressing mix; 1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese; pepper; 3 pieces bacon, fried, drained and crumbled

5 -6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
1 -2 garlic clove, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 (1 ounce) packagedry ranch dressing mix
1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese
pepper
3 pieces bacon, fried, drained and crumbled

Directions

Boil the potatoes until tender and drain.

Put the potatoes with onion and garlic in a bowl.

Combine sour cream, salad dressing mix and a little pepper.

Toss with potato mixture til well coated being careful not to smash the potatoes.

Put the potato mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.

Sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Sprinkle the top with bacon and serve.
