Ingredients

  • 28 oz. can pork and beans
  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 2 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • salt and ketchup to taste
  • condiments (grated cheese; lettuce; tomatoes; chopped onion; sour cream; hot sauce; cooked rice)

Directions

    Brown ground beef; drain off fat.

    Add onion until brown and then beans, bouillon broth and seasonings.

    Simmer 60 minutes. Serve over rice and top with condiments.
