  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 3 (15 1/2 oz.) cans small red beans
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato paste
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder

    In large skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper and garlic. Drain fat.

    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
