  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 sticks Margarine
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder Rounded Off
  • 1/2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

    Sift together flour and sugar.

    Boil together margarine and water. Once boiling, add cocoa. Stir until blended. Do not scorch.

    Pour hot liquid over flour and sugar mixture. Stir. Add buttermilk, eggs, and baking soda. Mix well. Add vanilla.

    Bake at 400F for 20 minutes in jelly roll pan.

    Once cooled, frost with your choice of milk chocolate frosting.
