- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 1 small can mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Brown the beef.

2Add onions, celery, green pepper, mushrooms and seasonings; cook until vegetables are tender.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes and rice; heat through.

5Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.

6Cover; bake at 350° for 1 hour.
