Texas Pecan Pie

- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly with mixer.

2Add sugar and syrup; continue beating.

3Add salt, vanilla and melted butter to mixture.

4Place pecans in bottom of pie crust.

5Add prepared filling to pie shell. Cover edge of crust with foil during the first 15 minutes of baking.

6Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center of the pie shakes slightly when moved.
