  • 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 c. diced onions
  • 1/2 c. butter melted (1/4 lb.)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Mix all together (potatoes still frozen).

    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Top with another cup of grated Cheddar cheese or melt 2 teaspoons of butter and mix with 1 cup Special K (slightly crumbled).

    Sprinkle on top.

    Bake at 350° for 60 to 75 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
