Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 can English peas
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can ripe olives, chopped
  • 1 can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. oregano or basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 c. shell macaroni (uncooked)
  • grated or sliced cheese

Directions

    Cook macaroni and drain.

    Brown meat, onion and green pepper. Add tomato sauce and tomato soup.

    Add all other ingredients, except English peas.

    Simmer.

    Just before taking up, add peas. Mix all with pasta.

    Put in a baking dish.

    Top with cheese.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
